The enabling services offered:
Enabling Role:
Such facilitating interventions as above are offered to help identify and achieve business growth objectives of the client companies, based on their business priorities, strengths and opportunities.

Amongst the Indian industry, it is the strong SME segment which would look for quality support which otherwise it does not normally have means or access to. Presuming that there would be a number of SMEs struggling with such issues, they would see a benefit in engaging professionals on a contractual but deliverable basis to address specific business issues at a far lower cost than, say the cost of full time employment. Most of such interventions being strategic by definition would be sporadic in nature and applied in a ‘project’ mode - for achievement of breakthrough business milestones.


The Offering:
Growth Enablers offers ‘business growth enabling’ services to medium scale Indian as well as foreign enterprises having clear and specific business growth goals. These include:

  • Business strategy review, development and deployment.
  • Marketing support, business expansion & acquisition.
  • Global sourcing tie-ups.
  • Company representation & agencies.
  • JV negotiations & agreements, involving technology transfer & foreign participation.
  • M & A activities, involving negotiations, due diligence and agreements.
  • Project funding – Venture and PE.
  • Project planning & execution on turnkey basis - from preliminary assessment to tying up of technology & resources, from setting up of facilities & operating teams to sustained deliveries.
  • Operational excellence, quality up gradation & accreditation, Org. Development & team building etc.

Enabling Platform:
The enabling platform offered will be distinct from that of a Consulting firm, in as compensation will be based on pre-determined deliverables as defined in the engagement contracts. In simple terms, the value addition offered will go beyond advising a course or a solution, and will extend to delivering results by working with the management team of the client company. Another key differentiator will be the intent to form deep and lasting associations with select clients. Alignment of vision and values will be as critical a criterion as the uniformity in assessment of the business growth potential and opportunity. As a process, potential clients will be references from known contacts of standing in the industry.

A typical engagement term sheet will contain the following specifics:

  1. Definition of intent and deliverables, emanating from the current to desired state, specifying the type of intervention required and quantification of the value addition expected with milestones;
  2. Engagement & compensation terms could be evolved on either of the following two basis:
    1. Long-term Engagement
      Would typically be for 3 years duration, subject to annual review for mutually agreed Rrevisions, Extension or Termination.
    2. Project Based Engagement
      Could cover a series of interventions required to achieve specific goals or projects with defined time-bound plan and deliverables. Compensation in such cases would normally be project specific and will be based on assessment of the period and intensity of engagement.
